Adult Education Day
On February 15, the second annual Adult Education Day took place at the Indiana State House. This event allowed the Indiana Association for Adult and Continuing Education, the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, and adult education programs around Indiana to honor and publicly recognize work accomplished through adult education. Over 250 individuals were in attendance. The event featured guest speakers, student ambassadors, adult education business partners, and student essay winners. Indiana boasts robust national rankings in the following fields:
- Number 1 for student achievement and growth
- Number 2 for the number of high school equivalency diplomas awarded
- Number 4 for certificates earned through Integrated Education and Training
Warren Adult & Continuing Education attended the event along with one of its business partners, dormakaba USA. This was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the success of this partnership. #adulteducationmovement
