Adult & Continuing Education Chronicles

Mission: Measurement
Students reviewed the importance of measuring correctly by making tasty treats. This Intermediate-Level ML Class made granola bars and no-bake cookies to practice their measuring skills. What an interactive way to practice a needed skill, resulting in enjoyable food.
New HSE Graduates
Congratulations to Andres Ricano Avila, Rachel Horton, Chianne Brady, and Lucius Mueller (not pictured) on achieving their HSE! Andres earned his HSE through the TotalTranscriptⓇ, combining his TASCⓇ and HiSETⓇ scores. Rachel passed all five HiSETⓇ exams and stated, "By graduating early, I was able to finish my first semester of college at 16!" Chianne and Lucius both took the GEDⓇ exams to earn their credential. Warren ACE looks forward to celebrating with these students and their families at the graduation ceremony in June.
ML Orientation
This week, Warren Adult and Continuing Education held its final ML Orientation for 2023. Almost 200 students attended one of the orientation sessions, where they made connections with other students through icebreaker activities, learned about the program's expectations, took a tour of the building, and completed the TABE CLAS-E pre-assessment. The students will begin attending class in January after Winter Break.
