ML Presentations
This week students in the advanced-level classes read biographies about famous Americans. After completing the books, they continued their research on the Internet. A Google Slides presentation was the final project, and the students had an opportunity to share their work with other students in the program. This was an interactive way for students to learn more about United States history and practice their speaking skills.
Construction Update
The spring class is nearing its end at Highlander Park. Last week First Financial Bank came to speak with the class about taking charge of their finances. The cohort also completed their work experience with NeighborLink Indianapolis. Next week, BY Construction will hold a graduation ceremony for students and their families.
HSE Graduates
Congratulations to Marzell Walden, Gregory Myles, Ha'King Reid, and Landon Dickinson (not pictured) for achieving their HSE. Marzell is grateful he is one step closer to reaching his goals. Gregory is thankful to Ms. Luz and Ms. Amie for keeping him motivated. Ha'King stated, "Warren Adult Education helped me achieve my GED which brings me closer to my career." Landon thanked Warren for his education. Lives continue to be changed at Warren ACE.
