Teacher and Support Staff of the Year
Congratulations to Deborah Graves and John Pribik who were chosen by the staff at Warren ACE as the 2024 Teacher of the Year and Support Staff of the Year. Deborah has taught in the program for over 20 years as an ML Instructor. She has also played an integral role in establishing new classes through the program's WEI partners like dormakaba and H.T. Hackney. John began working at Warren in February 2022. His role has grown throughout his tenure. He is one of the first faces that the students meet when entering Highlander Park. He truly offers so much to the program through his dedication and respect for all.
Welding Class
Warren Adult and Continuing Education welcomed the opportunity to offer welding as one of its certifications. The current class is nearing its end as the students prepare for their certification exam in mid-May. Students in this class are from the Warren community and one of Warren's partners, RecycleForce. Congratulations to the instructor, Jorge Mendoza, for being named Walker Career Center's 2024 Teacher of the Year!
New HSE Graduates
Congratulations to Angel Diaz, Erick Gonzalez, Elias Navarro, and Demariyae Mosley! These four individuals earned their HSE by passing the GED
or HiSET exams. Angel is currently attending the HVAC training class at Highlander Park. Erick is grateful for the opportunity to reach his goals and continue his studies. Elias and Demariyae had great experiences at Warren and are thankful for the support in reaching their goals. "The fireworks begin today.
