ACE Weekly Update

It's All About the Numbers

"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn" is a quote by Benjamin Franklin that the teachers at Warren put into practice each day. The students in Ms. Judy's class are learning the importance of numbers by telling time and through measurement. In addition to learning these skills, the students are working in small groups to encourage each other and practice their speaking skills.

New HSE Graduates

Congratulations to Malachi Johnson, Jaulette Ludger, Benjamin Pulido, Joseline Diaz, and Dylan Bass for achieving their goal of earning an HSE. Malachi passed the HiSET exams to receive his credential. Jaulette, Benjamin, Joseline, and Dylan earned their equivalency diplomas by passing the GED exams. "Graduation is not the end; it's the beginning." ~ Orrin Hatch

Student Projects

Ms. Brenda's class is working on their Volunteer Opportunity Projects to be presented at the end of the month. After choosing two organizations of interest, the students researched the job skills and connections they could develop through volunteering using Indiana Career Explorer. The final Google Slides presentations will be the culminating activity to celebrate a successful year.
