ACE Weekly Update

ML Projects

The students in Ms. Shar's evening class completed final projects and had the opportunity to present their work to their classmates. These All About Me projects showcase the students' reading, writing, and speaking skills. Now the projects are on display for all students and staff to view.

Welding Spotlight

Warren Adult and Continuing Education is excited to announce that Cedric Lyle is the first student in the current cohort to take and pass the 1G welding exam. 1G welding is a flat welding position in which welders place metal pieces below the torch. Next up for Cedric is the 2G welding certification.

H. T. Hackney

Last week, the classes at H. T. Hackney ended for this program year. Almost 60 students attended English acquisition classes, and the outcomes for measurable skill gains were over 80% which is double the national average. This WEI partnership succeeded greatly, and the company was recognized at Adult Education Day in February. Warren and H. T. Hackney look forward to continued success in the next program year.
