Welcome back, Warren students, families, caregivers, and staff! I hope you've had a wonderful start to what I truly believe will be the Greatest School Year Ever!
Thank you to everyone who helped make the first few days of school a success. Your dedication, teamwork, and commitment to our students made for an incredible start to the year.
There has never been a more exciting time to be part of Warren Township. We are building on a strong tradition of excellence, and together, our future has never been brighter. Our students continue to achieve at high levels, with six consecutive years of growth in IREAD-3 performance, attendance exceeding 94%, and a graduation rate of more than 91%. These accomplishments reflect what is possible when outstanding students, supportive families, and dedicated staff work together toward a common goal.
This year, we remain focused on what matters most, providing every student with a safe, welcoming learning environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We continue to strengthen instruction, expand opportunities for students, and prepare every graduate for success in college, careers, and life.
We are also investing in the future of Warren Township. Construction planning is underway to add classrooms at four elementary schools, allowing our fifth-grade students to remain in their elementary schools beginning with the 2027-2028 school year. At the same time, we continue to improve our facilities, enhance school safety, and create learning spaces that match the excellence of our students and staff.
One of the many ways we support our students is by providing free breakfast and lunch to every Warren student, ensuring every child has access to healthy meals each school day. We are also proud to continue our partnership with Aramark, whose team works alongside our staff each day to provide nutritious, high-quality meals and outstanding service to our students and staff.
As we begin this new year together, I encourage each of us to make the choice to make this our greatest year yet. The greatest years don't happen by chance, they happen by choice. Together, let's choose to believe in one another, support one another, and give our very best every day. Thank you for being part of the Warren family and for all you do to make a difference in the lives of our students. It's going to be an incredible year!
Included in this week’s update is information on our attendance focus, staying connected with social media, safety reporting reminders, information on our upcoming immunization clinic, and information on our upcoming Family Engagement Summit.
Please let us know if we can support you in making this the Greatest Year Ever!
